Welcome, Ashlynn Evans! Local educator Ashlynn Evans officially joins Lyndon Elementary as our new 4th Grade Teacher after serving our district as a long-term library substitute last spring. We are excited to welcome her to the Tiger family and look forward to a great year ahead! 🧡🖤

Lyndon's own Deputy Lexi Douglas has officially graduated as a member of the 360th Basic Training Class after 14 weeks of intensive law enforcement training. Yesterday marked the culmination of her hard work and dedication as family, friends, the Osage County Sheriff's Office, and USD 421 celebrated her achievement and welcomed her as Lyndon Schools' new School Resource Officer (SRO). As we continue updating our technology infrastructure, we want to ensure the enrollment process goes as smoothly as possible for our families. Moving enrollment by two days will allow us to complete these updates and provide a better experience for everyone.

Lyndon Schools wants to invite ALL parents and students to our annual Back to School Night. We will have hot dogs and chips for everyone! Come meet your teacher and drop off your supplies. Our Title 1 teachers will be sharing information for all students currently receiving these benefits AND any new students who may qualify. JOIN US Wednesday, August 12th., 5- 7 PM First full day of school is Thursday, August 13th.

Enrollment is now open for RETURNING students. To enroll your student(s): Login to your PowerSchool Parent Portal and navigate to "Forms". Complete all forms for each of your students. Pay fees and fund your student's food service account. If you have questions or do not have/remember your Username and/or password, please call one of the school offices for assistance.

REMINDER – 2026 Lyndon MS/HS Band Camp is coming up! All students grades 7-12 enrolled in Band at Lyndon are asked to attend camp!
Camp starts Monday, July 27th and will continue daily throughout Friday July 31st. Students will meet in the band room everyday at 9am and stay until 12pm. Lunch is provided everyday! Additional information has been sent to parent and student emails of those currently enrolled.

Lyndon Schools wants to officially welcome Natosha Jenkins as our PK-8 Principal at Tiger Nation for the 2026-27 school year. Principals will officially be back on duty next week. Online enrollment begins Tuesday, July 28th. New to Lyndon students will have in person enrollment, Monday, August 3rd, Noon - 8 PM.

Congratulations to all the Music students participating in the Summer High School Camp opportunities!
There were three separate band camps held around Kansas in which Lyndon Students participated in this Summer. These camps were:
Kansas State Lions Band - A week long camp sponsored by the Kansas Lions Foundation that brings students from all over Kansas together to spend their time on a college campus learning about the Lions Club and rehearsing music for a beautiful concert at the end of the week. This year, Lions Band was hosted at Hutchinson County Community College and was attended by Paige Gebhardt, Iralynn Kimberlin, Zayden McCorkle, Darcie Robinson, and Loki McClintock
FFA State Band - an auditioned ensemble that is hosted on K-State Campus during the week leading up to the FFA State Officers Convention. To be selected for this, a student must be an outstanding and active participant in their local FFA program, they must submit a video recording of an audition excerpt, and finally, they must have a glowing recommendation from both their FFA Sponsor and Band Teacher. It's a HUGE honor to be accepted into the FFA State Band. This camp was held during the same week as the Lions Band and Averi Doan was selected to attend!
Kansas Masonic All-State High School Marching Band - A week long camp sponsored by the Kansas Masonic Foundation that runs in tandem with the Kansas Shrine Bowl. This event is an annual football game, cheer clinic, and marching band camp that all come together for the all-star game at the end of the week as a fundraiser for Shriners Hospitals. This camp is also hosted on a college campus where students rehearse and put together a marching show from scratch over just a few short days. This year, the Shrine Bowl was hosted at Emporia State University and was attended by, Iralynn Kimberlin, Averi doan, Darcie Robinson, Loki McClintock, Lydia Birdsong, and the recipient of the Kansas Masonic All-State High School Marching Band Masonic Pride Award, Zayden McCorkle.
Congratulations to these several music students for all of their hard work over the Summer!
