We are so excited to celebrate our Elementary “Caught Ya Being Good” students for September!

Congratulations to: Emmett Rogers, Kyle McFadden, Zaylee Kelly-Stone, Natalie Reece, Gentry McNally, Lane Burkdoll, Grady Anderson, Kinsley Heckel, Paden McNally, Hazel McFadden, Zabrina Witt, and Lucy Ellis.

Our Caught Ya Being Good program gives every staff member, including teachers, cooks, and support staff the opportunity to recognize students when they are caught demonstrating kindness, responsibility, respect, hard work, or any of our ROAR expectations.

When students receive a special ticket, they can bring it to the office for a small prize and place their ticket in their grade-level jar. At the end of each month, two students from each grade level are randomly selected to enjoy Pizza and Pop with the Principal!

We are so proud of all of our students who make positive choices and help make our school a great place to be. Keep up the great work, Elementary!

CareArc will be providing free dental screenings at Lyndon Schools on October 22nd, 2026. To comply with Kansas State Statute 72-6251, school children (K-12) should receive annual school-based
dental screenings.
KDHE screenings identify the presence of decay, previous dental experience (fillings and/orsealants), infection, swelling, and pain. Parents and guardians are notified of the screening results, and those with dental treatment needs are referred to local dentists for care. School screenings are not a substitute for an examination by a dental professional, and it is recommended that all children have a dental home that provides regular, comprehensive dental care.
To participate in the screening, no action is required. If you would like your child to receive a fluoride varnish (in addition to the screening), please complete the top portion of the attached form. If you would like to opt your child out of the,screening, please complete the bottom portion of the attached form. All students will be screened unless opted out.
**If your child sees a dentist regularly and receives fluoride applications, please do not sign them up for additional applications. Most dental insurances only cover a certain number of applications per year, and we do not want that to affect how they will cover your child at their regular dental visit.
Remember, that thisis only a screening. Even if your child doessee a dentist regularly, I would encourage them to go through the screening as well. It is completely up to you, though.

Forms will be available in the LEMS Office and HS office for Middle School and High School students.
