Due to a shortage on the delivery truck, there will be a change to Monday’s lunch menu. Instead of Pizza Alfredo Pasta, we will be serving Rattlesnake Pasta.

Our Kindergarten - 5th Grade Spring Music Concert is coming up on March 25th!
K-2nd is at 6:00 and 3rd-5th is at 7:00 in the Auditorium.

Reminder about Substate Basketball . These are KSHSAA postseason games . Thursday-Girls-6pm-v-ACCHS . Friday-Boys-6pm-v-Doniphan West. Tickets are $8 adults and $6 k-12 students. NO PASSES ACCEPTED . If Girls win they will play March 3rd at home again. If boys win they will play March 4th TBA.

Change to Friday's Basketball games @ home v Burlingame. JV Girls is cancelled. All games will be in the HS gym. JV Boys/Varsity Girls/Varsity Boys. Remember we also have ACADEMIC NIGHT between girls and boys varsity games and the MINI Cheer Clinic halftime of Boys.

Hello families!
With cold, flu, and other illnesses making the rounds this time of year, we wanted to share a quick reminder about our school health guidelines and procedures when students are feeling sick.
If your child has a fever (100.4° or higher), vomiting, or diarrhea, please keep them home to rest and recover. Students should be symptom-free and fever-free (without the help of medication) for at least 24 hours before returning to school.
We know it’s not always easy to juggle schedules, but keeping sick students home helps protect everyone and keeps our school community healthier overall. Thank you so much for your partnership, understanding, and continued support—especially during this busy season of germs!

After careful consideration, there will be no school tomorrow, Monday, January 26th at USD 421. Extreme wind chill temps and road conditions are not favorable.

Congratulations to Madeline Volkman, an LEMS rockstar teacher! She received a grant from KNEA, OFG Financial Services, and Security Benefit.
The UBenefit grant recognizes and awards educators for all they do, that so often
goes unnoticed. This year, they had over 900 applicants and again awarded 100
winners with a $100 grant. Each applicant provided an estimate of the amount
of personal funds they spend each year supporting students and classrooms and
the average annual amount was over $550.
Way to go, Madeline! We are so proud of you!
