Lyndon Invitational

Date:  Thursday, September 12, 2019

Direction:    We are glad that you will be participating in the Lyndon High School Cross Country meet.  The meet will be held at Melvern Lake in the Outlet Area.  This area is located just off US Highway 75.  We are very appreciative of the US Army Corps of Engineers for allowing us to host this event at their facility.  Parking for this event will be at the Outlet Swimming Beach Parking Lot.  The bathroom/shower facility at the beach will be open for this event.  The course encompasses both the beach and camping areas within the Outlet Area.  The start and finish areas are located around the Outlet Swimming Beach parking area.  The course utilizes the large hill coming into the park, a suspension bridge that crosses over the outlet river channel, the outlet campground and picnic areas and an existing walking trail in addition to the grass areas beside the entranced road.
