Help House Food Drive

Help House is currently in great need of nonperishable food items, and we are excited to do our part in making a positive impact in the community. With the support of Mrs. Woolf and the Lyndon School Board, we are introducing a special incentive this year!

If our entire school collects at least 3,067 items by Friday, November 21st, there will be no school on Friday, December 19th!

Donations will be collected each morning before school in both the LEMS and High School Commons Areas. Thank you for supporting this important cause!

Library Media Support

The Middle School Student Council, together with Grace Hill, Morgan Young, and
Natalie Green from the High School National Honor Society, are joining forces to
sponsor a Food Drive from November 17–21 to benefit Help House. Help House
is currently in great need of nonperishable food items, and we are enthusiastic
about making a positive impact in the community.

With the support of Mrs. Woolf and the Lyndon School Board, we are adding a
special incentive this year. If the entire school collects at least 3,067 items by
Friday, November 21st, there will be no school on Friday, December 19th.

Items will be collected each morning before school in both the LEMS and High School Commons Areas.
Please note:
• Expired food items cannot be accepted.
• Small packages such as individual ramen packs, toilet paper rolls, and similar items will be counted as four items equaling one donated item.
• New gloves, stocking hats, and toiletries will also count toward the total.

Tomorrow, Friday, October 31st, is our K-5 Halloween Parade at 2:00 p.m. Parents and guests are invited to come see the kiddos in their costumes. We will plan to parade around the front side of the school, so position yourself along the path. We will start with kindergarten and continue up through 5th grade.

As a reminder, please just pack your child's costume in their backpack and please follow the costume expectations. Students will have a chance to put their costumes over their clothes prior to the parade. It is going to be a "spook"tacular day!

In the case of inclement weather, we will parade around the CLC and the school hallways.
